  • Develop Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander action plan to work with local community to improve cultural responsiveness.

  • Review of Planned Activity Group (PAG) Assess and Assessment procedure to recognise the special needs of people who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex, Queer/Questioning.
  • Review of DNS access and assessment procedure to ensure it recognises the special needs of people who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex, Queer/Questioning.
  • Education for staff regarding recourses and support already available shire wide for people who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex, Queer/Questioning.

·        Review of current Goal Directed Care Planning occurs in Social Support
Embed W&R in service specific assessment, service planning & review ·        Review and update Volunteer manual in line with Maldon Values.

We have dedicated a resource to move towards Rainbow accreditation.
